If momma ain't happy.....

......then she ain't doing nothing right.

Life is hard on its own.  Add in a family, career, and school, and you sometimes need to remember to not sweat the small stuff.  So here I am, in my EARLY 30's - seriously when did that happen-  and I've decided that life is too short to not enjoy it to the fullest.  I have so much to be thankful for and add a lot of hard work into the mix....so why not?  I am, without a doubt, the happiest I've ever been.
This spring has been eventful and the summer is only going to get better.  Full of friends and fun, just the way it should be.  Here's a photo recap of what the Edelsons have been up to:

THE Kentucky Derby!
We made the trek down to Louisville in an RV with our best bud George.  We've spent many holidays with George, and plans for more adventures (Kilimanjaro!!!!) in the future are a definite.

We met a great family from Iowa and Wisconsin.  Love new friends.

Nurse's Week
The one and only picture, thanking one of my nurses for the absolutely amazing, incredible, worth-the-calories sea salt covered dark chocolate covered caramels....YUM!

What happens in Vegas….

It had been 3 years since we had been in Las Vegas for Dave's DIRTY THIRTY. So when our friends Dave and Lisa mentioned going there, we were all in :)  Only one problem, I was having surgery 2 days before.  Just a little thang.

"Eh…no problem", said my surgeon.  "It will be good to recover on vacation".  Suuuure!

So off we went to sunshine and warmer temps, escaping the highs of 20 degrees and snowstorms.  Elllie was in the best of hands with Bubby Bonnie so that made this first time vacation sans child possible.  and easier on the heart

We got there, got an upgrade in rooms, and went straight down to the casino floor with D&L.  The next day their our friend Jerry flew in from WA.  Let me just tell the rest of the trip in pictures.  There was a lot of walking our poor feet, gambling, and winning!  It was a great trip and we can't wait to do it again next year with Mr. & Mrs. Palmer!!!!!!!

Big Money, Big Money!!

Love her :)
