A little this and that

Well, we've been all over the road lately, here in the Edelson household :).   A little of this and that, you know....shopping, football, birthday parties, surgery, new teeth, reading, etc.

We found a good deal at IKEA!

Yeah, another surgery for the Edelsons....what's new.  Ha ha.  Ellie finally got ear tubes so we are hoping that's the end to her ear infections.  Quick, and virtually pain free, it's a simple 5 minute procedure in the OR.  The next day she was tugging on her jacket by the front door...so off to school we went.
Snoozing on the ride home =(

Speaking of school, love Ellie's teachers.  She has learned so much in the past few months.  She's coming home showing us a few simple sign language words, says about 5-10 words, can understand a lot more, does a little hand dance to itsy bitsy spider, and follows commands pretty well.  I just love that she learns so much everyday.

The girl loves big kids so much!  It's too bad she doesn't have a big brother or sister ;)  We went to a friend's son's 7th birthday party....so. many. kids!  But we had a fun time.  Thanks Fosters!!!

Being entertained by the boys

Momma Foster including Ellie in on the fun

We've also been watching a ton of football.  Go Seahawks!!!  Hopefully we can pull out another win today.  We are all ready to go.  Got the Seahawks flag up, our gear on, and cookies to munch on :).   May the best bird win!!!!

  1. Aw, I hope the tubes help with her ear infections, those are so miserable. Still heartbroken about the Hawks. :-(

  4. Hi Nikki!! :) My nephew had ear tubes put in when he was a baby too (he's 10 now). I don't really know the details but I think they did their job! That Angry Birds game looks fun, I guess it's a new twist on pin the tail on the donkey! Glad you're doing good.
